This itinerary is ideal for anyone looking for some time to relax on beautiful beaches and soak up the Indian Ocean sunshine. Combining a couple of islands such as La Digue and Praslin makes this trip more interesting and allows you to experience different beaches and landscapes. There is also the chance to visit numerous other nearby islands on snorkeling or boat trips.
No trip to Victoria would be complete without a wander through the covered market. It’s small by African standards, but it’s a bustling, colourful place nonetheless. Alongside fresh fruit and vegetables, stalls sell souvenirs such as local spices and herbs, as well as the usual assortment of pareos (sarongs) and shirts.
